currently reading this book <<女人让我缺氧>> [loosely translated as subject title]... written by a man about his observations and interpretations of woman. amusing book. in it, there's one very interesting chapter.... 我没有衣服穿! [i have no clothes to wear!]
sounds familar? yes, most if not all women has said this often... of cos when we do, we dun mean that we are walking ard naked, so guys get tat pic out of ur head! hehehee.... it simply means, we dun have the appropriate/new/not seen wore more than 3x by the same ppl within the same month to wear for the occasion. and yes it doesn't matter if the clothes in our wardrobe [walk-in or not] is enuff to open a boutique... see, we need skirts: mini, knee length, above knee length, ankle long, flr sweeping long.... pants: shorts, tapered pants, bell bottom, 3/4, jeans... top: u sure u want me to list all out??!! heehhee... and not forgetting different materials, colors and cuttings....
next wk i got a wedding dinner to attend... and guess wat? i have no clothes to wear! wahahhahhaa......

Time of Travel: On the way to work
I was sitting on the upper deck of the bus when a group of students [yes "O" levels is over!] boarded. Suddenly a loud "thud" sound and one of the boys went "ouch"! follows by uproars of laughter.... apparently one of the boys come up to the upper deck and hit the roof!
maybe i'm not tat tall... but won't people automatically slouch abit or lower their head when getting unto the upper deck? is tat the 1st time he got on the upper deck?? or he suddenly grown 3inches overnite?? maybe the tall people can comment on this.. hehehee....

since i've been rather broke, i've been taking bus/mrt to and from work. so i've decided to blog abt certain things i've observed and encountered. some pretty gross, some pretty weird.... hopefully this help me to be more observant and erm... less blur??!! [i said hopefully lah]

Time of Travel: Peak hours after work
Fortunately i got a seat. but soon it came to my senses that i was not TAT fortunate.... one seated beside me has a severe case of BO, and the one on my other side was marinated in cologne!! should any one fart there and then, i would flop over, foaming in my mouth..... -_-"

Over dinner i was still telling my friend abt how once i was in a crowded bus. the guy who sat down beside me sat with his legs w---i---d---e---- open. i nearly paste myself onto the window just to "avoid" him. even using my bag to push against him doesn't work. he pretended to sleep and keep nodding his head over...
and after more than a decade, this thing happened to me again!!! only difference, this is not a guy, but a BUTCH! -_-" it's not as if she has anything between her legs that she can't close it u know... and as if that is not enuff, she put her laptop bag [which was on her lap] by her side and pushes over to me even more. by now i'm half a butt out! she won, i changed seat at the next available chance....

The bus was pretty empty.... i sat on an aisle seat. there's another aisle seat and 2 other seats empty in front of me. an aunty boarded and stand by the seat in front of me and smiled at me politely. 1st thot: do i know her? negative. she stood there smiling at me for 10sec! i shifted into the window seat and she sat down beside me! -_-" harlo aunty!!! there's so many empty seats ard, why must make me move? and i alighted before her and have to squeeze past her....

Day Trip to JB
Yest went in JB with a friend. Had good and cheap lunch, and off to City Square we went for shopping!! end up: i bought a pair of sandals at RM$19.90 and have a hair cut at RM$45!!! *happy happy* next month i'm going in to either color or digital perm my hair!!! [depends on how much length my hair grow, it's pretty short tis time].... anyone wanna go together? heheehee....
after a sumptuous dinner we headed back to SG. and we were stuck at the custom for 1+hrs!!! i almost died in the queue cos i urgently needed the restroom.... restroom at whr we eat was, well.... erm.... no thank u!
good thing abt shopping in JB, it's cheap.. well at least certain stuffs and the advantage of the exchange rates. bad thing? the jam IN and OUT... plus issit me? or is the air thr smell diff?? -_-"

New toy~~~~
my old t610 trade-in value is only $50!!!! kaoz.... oooh well nvm, at least i got rid of it and got myself a new mobile! so far so good, tho need more time to get used to the interface. and the keypad ain't tat easy to use cos of my nails.... now i just have to get nice cute ringtones and wallpapers again.... and a phone sock to keep it "protected".... :D
Sleep talking.....
Yest woke up angry for nothing... here's the story: the nite before called hubby at 11pm. He was outside and on the way back to his hotel (overseas), said he'll call me back in 30mins. But soon after i fell asleep and woke up feeling upset cos he din call!!! grr~~~~~
next day (aka yest) late afternoon called to scold him.... end up he said he did called. and i did answered. Not with the "uhm.. yah... orh..." but apparently, i answered and replied him "intelligently" with full sentences, asking him to call me the next day. i even gave him goodnite kiss!! i have to check my call records to confirm, yup i did picked up his call.... and i totally have no recollection of it!!!
damn! tis is not the 1st time i did tis.... i ever answered a call while i was sleeping. set up time/place to meet my friend... end up when she called at the time of appointment, scolded me cos i was still at home! i totally have no recollection that i answer her call..... so if any of you call me while i'm sleeping, even when i ans in full sentences, pls sms me if it's important.... :P

it must be cos my bday.... yest was at a bookstore and saw tis book entitled, "what to do when your hormone goes haywire at 40?" i was shocked!! meaning wat? menopause is at 40??!! gosh, dun tell me my factory haven't gone into production and it starting to close down liao?! -_-"

Kenna "kiap"ed....
1st i kenna puncture, now i kenna "kiap"ed.... sun woke up with a major stiff neck... must have slipped off my pillow and slept with my head at 90º to shoulder.... again! usually hubby will adjust my head for me... but he ain't ard tis time!! :(
can't move my head, left right up or down! to shift, i must hold my neck, apply pressure on it and slowly move my head.... even laying down hurts! if i shift position or get up, it hurts like #$@%... last nite wake up a few times from the pain, cos i shifted my head while i was asleep.... finally the morn came, i went to see the chinese sinseh.... she did acupuncture on my hand (which somehow is to link with my neck)... din work much.... so she "kiap" me.... the thing like cloth peg just tat it's bigger...
after 20mins of "kiap-therapy", it did felt better.. at least i can move my head a little.... but it still hurts.... *sob sob* someone pls kiap me!!!!

It is now August, the time of the seventh month, which in Chinese mythology means that the gates of hell are open and evil spirits and hungry ghosts can walk freely on earth and make you very unhappy if you don't feed them. Some women carry Zhong Kui statues in addition to sanitary pads in their handbags, just for peace of mind from scary things.
Raintree Productions, a local media company, has daringly chosen this time to launch their new movie, "The Maid". When I walked into a cinema toilet today, I turned a corner and almost pee-ed on the spot because of what greeted me. It was the life-sized figure from the poster of The Maid. Unfortunately, I had no camera at that time.
But today, I decided to go back to the toilet in Plaza Singapura to confront my fear. With a camera.
I stepped into the toilet and turned the corner, and saw... this poster, instead of the life-sized figure. Where did the figure go, I wondered. Did it get removed after someone really died on the spot after seeing it? I went outside to look around, and discovered that it was still there, in the open this time.
Stupid advertisers never imagined a scenario where toilet users could be using pacemakers or dying of old age already. I'm sure at least one person's heart gave up on the spot after seeing this in the toilet.

It can't be switch on like a tv box,
Tho' it gets hot like a frying wok,
Two can't fit onto a single bed,
It is fragile like a mirror frame.
Connect like a phone call regardless of zone,
But your razor sharp words cut me to my bone,
Like a cup of coffee spilled over the table,
This love is dumped like a panty made of paper.

Poetry Workshop...
went for the Poetry Workshop organised by DPS on sat. i must say it was very interesting.... i wasn't really a poet (except by accident) and did not learn poetry in school... it's good to know what i've been missing....
of cos it's just scratching on the surface... how to cover everything in just 4 hours?! but it's a good start.... and i must say i had fun "chopping" up poems... hehehehe.... it's an exercise about line breaks lah... :P
the last exercise i got stuck tho... heng no need to "present" it.... it's to write a nursery rhyme about ourselves without "I".... ii got stuck with the nursery rhyme part!!!! it's been decades, how to remember??!! -_-"

been having giddy spells for far too long.... finally went to see a chinese sinseh today.... complained of backache which felt like menses cramp but not.... she asked if i'm afraid of acupuncture. i ans with a qns, "issit painful?" and like all doctors she said just a little..... read duckie said she went for it and it wasn't painful... so decided to give it a shot...
i lay on my side cos i was giddy.... she insert a few on my lower back and ON my head!!!! -_-" then i felt a heat on my back.... if curiousity kills the cat, well curiousity hurts the panda..... ALOT!!! i was curious wat's the heat frm and turn ard to take a peep.... MISTAKE!! i didn't know tat we are NOT supposed to move when the needle is in us..... gosh! PAIN!!!!!
and for some strange reason the one on my head doesn't hurt at all..... thick skulled??!! 8O

How Public is Public Transport?
I just had one of the worse cab ride of my life.... nope the driver ain't F1 contestant.... just tat he was playing a Buddhist chanting cd!! no offence to buddhists. but i ain't frm tat religion.... and can u imagine a 20mins of chanting the same phrase in the tone and beat??!! -_-" it simply gets into my nerves and not to mention into my head....
taxi is part of the public transport rite? but do the public have any right while in it? can we request the kinda music we wanna hear [or NOT hear]? how about the kinda air freshener? the speed to go? or issit we pay for the entire ride and we still have no say??!! no wonder so many ppl prefer to drive their own car......

met up in town, walked from heeren to wisma to taka to paragon back to heeren before we both nua at coffee club.... sipping ice smoothies and biatching..... happily stood up and almost walk out!! until piggy suddenly exclaimed, "wait we haven't pay!!!" gosh.... it would be sooo embarassing if ppl think we trying to have "free drinks"....
i blame it on coffee club express/starbucks/coffee bean etc etc.... make me too used to paying when ordering.... and of cos i can also blame it on my panda nature --- eat, shoots and leaves!! hahhaahaaa... okie okie i know it's lame :P

does security guards really bring security?
what happen when the presence of security guard bring a sense of unrest instead of security? can he be fired becos he doesn't fit his "job requirements"? *roll eyes*
there is this new security guard in our building who gives me the creeps. everytime he see me, he'll delibrately walk nearer to take a "closer" look... i started noticing when he purposely walk into the lift lobby to peep into the elevator just as i stepped into it. i was like, "wtf??" wat's wrong with these ppl??!!! aaarrrrggghhh~~~~~

the other day i was at ikea cafe, 2 guys sat down beside us. one of them went to get hot milk.... which he gulped down in less than 3 mins! his throat must be so immune to heat. and wat's more, he proceeded to get a cup of hot water and add sugar and creamer into it, and gulp tat down!!! yes i was staring cos it was just too weird!!!
why just sugar and creamer??? does it even taste good?? he even "recommend" it to his friend.... talk about weird drinking habit..... *shake head*

can manners be out of stock?!
okie tis is one of my "bitchy" blog....
last nite i was out watching "batman begins"... after the show, we were waiting for the lift as the current one was full.... so full tat the buzzer went off.... reluctantly the last 2 persons stepped out and took the stairs.... the buzzer still goes off.... after a long long while, an auntie and her elderly mum stepped out!! the lift was full with young people! and they have the audacity to let the elderly lady come out??!! gosh! wat has the world become??!!!
i was in total shock... and yes, as bitchy as i.... i voiced my view loudly to my hubby and for the whole lobby to hear.... tis is RIDICULOUS!! when the next lift came, no one rushes in (or dare to) but followed behind the old lady..... now TAT'S better!!!

包含不同的味道，

爱情就像糖果，让人甜滋滋的。满嘴的甜味，满心的甜蜜。。。但它也像糖果，经不起阳光的照耀，更经不起蚂蚁的侵袭。。。最后，甜美变得粘粘的、腻腻的，甚至会让人反胃。可是没有了爱情的甜美，又如何经得起生活的苦涩滋味？

女人分为三种：冰箱、熨斗、洗衣机。追求她们像使用电器，一不小心就会遭到电击。
第一类：冰箱。
她们虽然有令人跌倒的美丽，却冷酷得让我们不敢靠近。像冷库内的霜，她们白得令人紧张，原因是小时候艳阳高照的体育课，她们都躲在教室内自习。于是 她们考上北一女(台湾最好的女子高中)，台大毕业后留学纽约或洛杉矶。她们听歌剧、看达利、吃yogurt、讲话时习惯把声音放低。在满街槟榔的台湾，她 们用具有法文风味的名字，Yvonne、Josephine，每个名字听起来都像一种化妆品。她们跟人约在只有英文名字的餐厅，坚持喝某种牌子的矿泉水， 有没有气泡，有时会要她们的老命。她们穿黑色、逛诚品、上健身房、看Discovery。
冰箱的优点是表里如一，熨斗则忽冷忽热，外表完全无法判定。热情时，她把你的衬衫烧个大洞；不来电的话，等了半天也没有蒸气。她们不像电视，故障时有个讯号，你大概知道出了什么问题，打开盖就可以修理。熨斗不高兴时只是沉默且坚硬地坐在一旁，你想修都不知道该转哪里。
男人最想碰到的是洗衣机。你一身世故污秽，她大方地接受你。你不需用力，她就让你的世界转个不停。随着感情进展，洗衣机还会有各种不同的循环。有时她稍微停一下，只为了准备下一次更激烈的运转。

白痴、笨蛋、神经病之差异
在网络上看到这篇十分有趣的文章。。。
白痴也者，白无义，重点在痴这个字。
医学上有定义智商低於某一标准，谓之白痴，但这不在讨论范围内。
一般人习惯以聪不聪明，来判断白不白痴，这点可以接受。
笨蛋也者，蛋无义，重点在笨这个字。
一般认为白痴与笨蛋是同义词，我却不这麽认为。
我认为应以是否具有智慧，来判断是否是笨蛋。
神经病也者，不正常的人是也。
而所谓正常与否，只是多寡之分而已，不代表对或错。
大家都喜欢黑色，那喜欢黑色的就是正常，而喜欢白色的便成了神经病。
例子(1):
吴叁桂引清兵入关，只为陈圆圆。正常人不作这种事，所以他是神经病。为了女人，背上不忠之名，引来唾骂，并不聪明，所以他也是白痴。然而他断送的是朱姓江山，得到的是吴姓老婆，何损失之有？而且降清後，贵为亲王，帮崇祯拼死拼活，顶多只能混到公侯而已。以这点而论，他绝不是笨蛋。

这位阿伯简直是经典。老板在时，加班是常事。老板前脚踏出公司，他后脚离开打卡机。若问他任何问题，他是九问十不知！比一般的十问九不知更上一筹。他传信息更是了得。他说老板要我印传单，４公分 x ４公分 ！有可能吗？拿出铁尺，量给他看。“我不知道，你自己问老板。”

i did the most terrible thing i ever done to my doggie.... i left him alone at home with 1 day of food and lotsa water when i left for my short trip to m'sia on sun morn.... -_-"
hubby said inlaws will try to rush back on sun, but... but... but... they end up coming back only today afternoon!!!! *cries* thank god doggie survived!!! maybe i should be glad that he doesn't eat much afterall.... sigh....
of cos he created havoc at home.... pee everywhere, as i was "informed" by inlaws.... cos once the paper gets dirty, he won't go back to it again..... strictly NO recycling :P

My dark side calleth.....
hubby's return delay..... yet again! getting sick of blogging abt it, but.... I CAN'T HELP IT!!! no wonder i'm anakin [see Quiz: What Star Wars Character Are You?]
i was totally pissed last nite when he missed his flight... and the thing is [beside his numerous delays], he cancelled his flight at 9pm cos he left shenzhen at 830 to catch the flight at 945 in HK.... how NOT to miss? *shake head* and he never called when he said he would, whether he managed to get on the flight or not.... i waited till 1045pm and called him, only to find him back in shenzhen! in the 1hr45mins he can't even find the time to call me and let me know? and before i could say anything, he said he have to go.... toilet and DA BIAN!!! aaarrrgghhh~~~~~~~
i having problems dealing with his never-come-to-pass promises of return... and worse, despite being instructed by my pastor to call me everyday which he did initally, it ends up i'm the one who called him.... his "reason", he's busy.... i seriously dun feel i'm being valued... his work seems so much more impt... i felt like i'm a monument placed at home, no maintainence needed!! harlo, even a monument u also have to dust it rite? -_-"

I forgot my doggie!!!
wake up 5plus in the morn, laying on bed.... something is amiss... nope, not cos i've been sleeping alone for almost 2mths... wat's wrong?
suddenly jumped up!!! oooh nooooo............ i'm going for a retreat tis sun till tues with hubby, and my inlaws are NOT ard!!!! aaaaarrrggghhh....... i was so caught up with whether will hubby come back on time, i totally forgotten abt my doggie!!!! *pull hair*
called hubby (at 8+ lah, i not so evil to wake him up so early).... he only realised when i told him! whole day couldn't locate his parents, who are touring dunnoe where now in china.... called my groomer, nope she dun do boarding cos she has 4 dogs of her own liao.... check internet for pet hotels..... but..... but... one of my colleagues said his friend sent his dog to one and came back with fleas!!! *cry*
okie i think i can go pull hair now..... -_-"

ooh my eyes... my eyes......
wake up tis morn and can hardly open my eyes, still painful.... so close it and rest abit... and i dozed off!!! end result: LATE for work again.... sigh....
whole day at work, could hardly open my eyes cos of the pain.... now then i realised a person can actually work with eyes half open! but to be on the safe side, i got my designer to do all the cutting needed.... wait can't see properly dunnoe wat i cut off.... -_-"
and the worse thing is, even tho i am able to work with half open eyes.... the lure of dozing off DOUBLE! *yawn*

i hate specs!!!
woke up with sore eyes... not really red but teary and very pain!!! decided against going into office.... and being lazy to walk almost 2 busstop to my regular doc, i went to the one next block....
scenario #1 --- at the clinic
clinic assistant took over my id card... "oh u got the new card... how much u pay for it?"
"it's free..."
"huh? it's FOC? I thot gotta pay like 100+ to get the new one?"
"they'll send u a letter to renew it for free when u hit 30....." [grrr.... in my heart]
"really har? u're 30??!!"
"actually i'm thirty-*beep*..." [u think i'll tell the world how old i am on net? wahahahahaa]
"ooh i thot u're my age...." she's look like she's in her mid-20s....
scenario #2 --- at the convenience store
needed soda, i need something sweet to go with the yucky cough mixture!! okie it's a lame excuse... :P
at the cashier....
"$4.55 pls..."
dig out $$ and hand over...
"xiao mei mei ur change..."

Extraverted Thinking
This tertiary function is at the ready to give definitive answers when the world requires them. It provides a measure of balance to Introverted Feeling, allowing the ESFP some level of boundary and protection from those who would take advantage. When overused or overestimated, however, Thinking becomes a liability. ESFPs do well to seek out confirmation of the soundness of tough-minded decisions.

This function is least visible. As is the nature of the inferior (fourth) function, ESFP intuition lacks a sense of balance. delay upon delay....
hubby has been delayed again..... *sigh* supposed to be back last fri midnite.... am i upset? nope, disappointed yes.... cos he does have a very valid reason.... he supposed to go from shenzhen to HK for his flight back, but he couldn't clear the custom cos he was running a high fever. immediately sent to hospital and drip....
tat's the thing abt china doctors.... flu drip, fever drip.... drip is all they have?! anw he just discharged yest, today supposed to do another xray and .... yes, another drip! he won't be able to clear custom until he get a doctor's certification. ooh well.... tis is china after SARS....
i can't help but to wonder, why?? delays upon delays... is God trying to say something??!! if so, i need an explaination of the parable.... -_-"

do i miss him or do i miss him being ard?
the past long wkend has been a trip to depression valley for me.... i was so depressed tat i shut myself up at home for the past 3 days, not willing to see anyone.... hubby is still not back, wat was supposed to be a less than 2 wks biz trip has been delayed to 1 mth... for over 2wks i heard all sort of reasons, all valid no doubt. Still it doesn't mean i won't get upset.... hey i'm a woman, emotions triumph over logic....
some wonder why am i so upset? it's a biz trip.... he's working his butt out for me, for us.... the delays are due to circumstances tat's not within his control.... i guess it's not the fact he's away... i do enjoy the occasional 1-2 wk of freedom.... but it's the fact he's away for so long... his promises of return tat never comes to pass.... the fact tat no one drive me to work (except for cab drivers).... the fact tat no one is around for me....

flagging for cab....
last nite saw tis while i waiting at the "unofficial" cab stand at bedok mrt....
there were at least 4 ppl in frnt of me.... and for some unknown reason, there's hardly any available cabs at all! ppl getting impatient and they did the most illogical thing.... they started to fanatically flag for any cab coming their way.... i was sooooo tempted to tell them, no matter how hard they flag, the cabs won't stop.... cos it's HIRED!!!!!!! *roll eyes*
there were at least 4 ppl in frnt of me.... and for some unknown reason, there's hardly any available cabs at all! ppl getting impatient and they did the most illogical thing.... they started to fanatically flag for any cab coming their way.... i was sooooo tempted to tell them, no matter how hard they flag, the cabs won't stop.... cos it's HIRED!!!!!!! *roll eyes*

worrying over nothing?!
wonder why some ppl just seems to love to worry.... even when their useless, uncalled-for worrying cause them physical headaches.... nothing else goes thru their brain? *roll eyes*
story is this, my hubby is "supposed" to be back frm his month-long biz trip tis sat. my inlaws to fly off tis fri... somehow they die die must go b4 the golden week in china, her relatives are there and she goes back twice a yr... sounds okie? apparently not so for my mil... she worry when he'll come back, he can be back on sat meh? she think think think and concluded tat it's not possible.... tis is despite me telling her umteen times tat he said he is cutting short his stay in brazil and will try to rush back...
she worry he overseas having no good food (harlo, he was served lobster sashimi there), no good sleep (in a 5-star biz hotel??!!)... show me where all the ingredients for herbal tea is so i can make some for him upon his return.... *ahem* i was the one who introduce tat herbal tea into the house okie!!! she worry he come back only after they left, how?? but they already decided they MUST leave on fri.... plus it's not like he's a kid... he's a 35yr old married man!!
story ended with me leaving for work, and she sitting on the sofa massaging her forehead cos of headache...... *sign*
